Leah Fang Sheff, Esq.

Associate Attorney

Leah Fang Sheff returns to the practice of law after taking time off to enjoy the early years of her children. Leah’s commitment to family law grew out of her passion for helping clients navigate challenging circumstances with a focus on negotiating effectively with adversaries. Leah’s background in complex financial structures during her time as a corporate lawyer provides clients with a reliable resource when marital assets are held in trusts, limited liability companies and/or limited partnerships. Leah’s strength in connecting with clients, adversaries and third parties is an important part of her role at the firm.

Leah received her B.A. magna cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania in 2000, where she graduated with honors in history, her major; her thesis analyzed the women’s movement at Penn in the 1960s and 1970s. In 2003, Leah received her J.D. from New York University School of Law where she was a member of the Intellectual Property and Entertainment Law Society, Law Women, and the Jewish Law Students Association. Upon graduating law school, Leah joined Latham & Watkins LLP as a real estate associate, where her practice focused on leasing, real estate finance, commercial real estate matters and representation of borrowers and lenders.

Leah is admitted to practice in New York.

A born and raised Manhattanite, Leah is a devoted mother of two and lives on the Upper East Side. Outside of work, Leah enjoys her steady commitment to volunteering at her children’s school, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
